VAT Removal from Order to Jersey

Hi, Today I bought one of the Nintendo Switch 2 consoles and paid for the order. I noticed that the VAT was not automatically removed and would like to find out how I would go about claiming this back? Jersey has its own GST and I would be paying this on top of VAT if not removed.

By buying from EE the transaction was still performed in UK for which VAT is due. EE is not a duty-free port!

You buy anything from a shop in UK you will be charged inclusive of VAT even if you show a Jersey passport unless that shop offers a duty-free service. EE doesn't!

Do you export goods/ deliver to addresses outside of the UK?

We don’t offer goods outside the UK mainland.
We don’t ship outside the UK and we also don’t offer goods to BFPO (British Forces Posted Overseas) addresses.
We don’t ship to PO Box addresses
We are unable to offer deliveries to hotels
We don’t ship to the Republic of Ireland/Eire, but we do ship to Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.

If you're taking goods out of the UK/EU and wish to re-claim the VAT, you should contact your local Revenue & Customs office for information. Unfortunately we’re unable to supply forms directly.

I'm afraid I don't understand this. If EE delivers to the Channel Islands then surely VAT is not applicable?

What does paras §3.3 & §3.4 say? (Despite EE not shipping outside UK)

But EE does ship to the Channel Islands, which is not part of the UK that's why I'm confused. Here is paragraph 3.3 & 3.4

None of that applies to EE as they are not exporting but selling direct to a customer ordering in the UK.

I ordered from the Channel Islands and the item is being delivered to the Channel Islands.

@XRaySpeX @Chris_B My friend who also lives in the Channel Islands has just got off the phone with support and was told that ee do not deliver electronics to CI and that his order will be cancelled. This is opposite to what is stated in your policies. Please can someone clarify this?
