Sent a Zero Balance Gift Card for Meta 3S promo

This card is supposed to be £50

I typed in the card number and the pin and it shows as a zero balance.

what do i do now? I don’t have an EE phone to text or call from.

Yes I have both sent an Email and requested a callback.

i do think it’s strange that there is no dedicated number to call for the Online EE Store to speak to a customer service rep.

I called general customer service and they are unable to assist.

I have now been referred to my third department bhneegaming@waivpay.com

and repeated my whole issue chapter and verse all over again.

no one seems to want to take ownership of or resolve this problem.

I'm so sorry we've left you feeling this way! Our Customer Service team and EE Store are two separate areas, so you've done the right thing by emailing or requesting a callback from where you've purchased from. If the team has then advised you to contact bhneegaming@waivpay.com, this will definitely be correct.

I have heard nothing back

where do I go from here?

are my only options to raise a formal complaint or go to trading standards?

I do not understand why no one will help.

I’d like to update that 6 days on from escalating this to a complaint I have heard nothing from either the escalations team or the “third party” allegedly investigating.

I wanted to be able to use this game card for the Meta Black Friday sale I’m going to miss this now.

with absolutely no acknowledgment of my issue from either the resolutions team or the third party email my only recourse now seems to be contacting Trading Standards.

ive never known a company with such non existent customer care it’s quite frankly shocking.

Still heard nothing. Sent two further emails. Got a standard cookie cutter email from resolutions saying they will contact when they have information.

this could drag on for months no one wants to resolve this so I have initiated a chargeback for the amount of the game card.

hopefully this solves it once and for all.

now another ten days on. And not a single reply from either resolutions or this alledged third party dealing with it.

the single worst customer service experience I’ve ever had from any company ever.

Hi @TheFishKnows i also received at £150 card which has a zero balance on it I went to redeem it tonight for my kids, who now wake up Xmas day without them. It’s ridiculous.

i hope you have better luck getting a resolution then I have. Even the token “have you checked your spam emails” community support posts have dried up.

literally on day 37 of trying to get this resolved. I have been ghosted by every department.

make a new thread if you havn’t already they just ignore this one now.

@TheFishKnows i am on day 30 of trying to contact the same people. EE hide behind the fact they are a third party and don't want to help just keep advising me that they will contact them and they will come back to me in 72 hours - Maybe they mean 72 days!!!

I emailed the CEO on LinkedIn. Nothing

I am in the same position. Day 5 without resolution. No reply to emails, in store couldn't help, numerous phone calls all saying not my dept. I have an 11 year old boy who saved hard for months to buy this and can't use it. No one is helping us I just need a new gift card it shouldn't be this hard. Never again

If you've purchased this online from the EE Store, it's this team you need to contact directly for any queries.
Have you used the Contact page as advised, and sent an email from the information on there? If you have the team will definitely respond as soon as they can.
