&lt;P&gt;If Nintendo are saying that it is due to accidental damage, it likely isn't covered by warranty, and that's why they are quoting the fee to repair. This is something you will need to discuss with them directly.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sent my Switch to nintendo as it has developed a fault not detecting the left joycon when connected to device for handheld mode.&amp;nbsp; works fine apart from this.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nintendo giving me a quote for repair of £218 inc VAT even though its within the 2 year warranty period and the error is not due to accidental damage/water damage etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;anyone else had this?&amp;nbsp; I'll take up directly with EE if nintendo dont resolve as its a known fault with the console.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
