Free Games pass Ultimate

I pay Microsoft monthly for Games Pass Ultimate, I have just taken out EE Fibre and EETV I have received a message saying I receive 12 months free XBox Ultimate.

Do I need to cancel my existing pass with Microsoft or does the free one from EE just automatically update this for 12 months.

Hi @CarlG12,

Thank you for posting. You don't need to cancel your existing Game Pass with Microsoft. The Game Pass with EE will take over the existing pass. Once the 12-month expires it will revert to as it was with Microsoft.

I was told the Game Pass would be a voucher by the sales rep during my upgrade. Not that EE would take over my Game Pass account. Which I've just found out after activating the offer.

My Game Pass account now says it next gets renewed at the end of my EE offer date. Ignoring the 6 months or so, I already had on my account.

Have I lost the six months of Game Pass I previously had?

Will my Game Pass actually revert to Microsoft at the end of the EE 12 month period automatically? Because it looks like it will renew by payment to EE automatically

Can it be fed to Microsoft that EE customers want to see when there total paid subscription months end, not only the EE months, when EE take over an account?

Pretty annoyed that I was given incorrect information and that now I cannot see clearly, when my subscription ends, if I'll be charged by EE in a years time and if I've lost six months of previously paid subscription.
