PlayStation plus code not in box

I ordered a ps5 with Spider-Man and 24 months PlayStation plus, the codes for PlayStation plus were not in the box, I contacted EE.who told me to contact Sony, not having much luck luck with Sony, not sure where to go next, surely this issue should be sorted by EE who supplied the device.

Unless it's a leaflet in the box you'll normally receive a text 14 days after purchase with the code (after cooling off).

There was a leaflet in the box asking to enter the 12 digit code (no code)

so I may receive it as a text within 2 weeks?

I bought the ps5 as an Xmas gift for my son on the 22nd November, only opened the box in Christmas day

Hi, already done that, called 150, spoke to operator, give me the details for Sony (which were wrong) spoke with Sony (still no update) the operators at EE asked me to email if I had an issue, I have done twice, no reply, very frustrating, as this was an Xmas gift.

Right had same problems believed it wasn't in the box.Had a stupid piece of papers saying I had to have a 12 digit code.This ends up being the code right at the top of the page on back with the beautiful bit of decoration , it can actually be scratched off. See this with my thumb on it I feel absolutely stupid about this , but it is not obvious I call ee store ee phone no one gave me any advice
