I have a EE smart hub and I’d like to run a second router off it for gaming.
I can’t the second router to connect to the internet from WAN to WAN.
I have rang EE and they have said they don’t support this - is this correct?
the gaming router I have is a ASUS RT-AC66UB1

any ideas please?

You don't connect 2 routers from WAN to WAN; you connect them from LAN to WAN.

The EE Broadband Care team only know about EE routers, there are so many others out there you can't expect any ISP to know more than their own devices.
