TNT sports being removed from inclusive extra! 😡

Hi,

got tnt sports as an inclusive extra on my package when I signed up in November 25 as it allows access to my iPad and iPhone. Allows me to watch all the champions league games on both devices which is excellent when I’m out and about.

swapped the inclusive extra for data roaming as I was going abroad on the 29th of June.26. Operator said just call back when your home and we will swap back to tnt sports for you. No issue.
Called back today and the agent mentioned that tnt sports is no longer on the inclusive extras list. It was removed on the 8th of July!

no mention mywhere that this was happening and I specifically got the deal as this was included. That’s breach of contract surely. I can’t be paying the same money till December 28 when the main product that I wanted is no longer available.

the gent said they would raise a complaint but anyone had this issue?
it’s a complete joke and I’ll be taking this as far as possible.

I can only imagine how frustrating it would have been to be told that you can re-add the TNT option, and then find out that our plan policy has changed.

Our Inclusive extras are generally treated as a flexible perk and not a fixed core part of your contract, so our list of extras can sometimes change.

If you've already logged a complaint with us, you should hear back within around 7 days.

it’s not frustrating it’s infuriating that what it is.

if the ee agent had mentioned that there was a possibility of tnt being removed I would never have done it. I received absolutely no word that it was being taken off the list of inclusive extras either.

on the last 2/3 phone contracts I’ve had the only inclusive extra I’ve had has been tnt sports.

I don’t have any need for any of the other extras. Only went with the plan had had because of the sports on tnt.

I fully expect ee to come back to me tomorrow (as the agent said she would) with absolutely nothing to offer me! it would be a nice touch if they realise it was the wrong thing to do and reinstated the products they had when I signed up and not changed them to suit themselves.

Yip typical response and what I predicted.

absolutely nothing they can do. Very interesting that for the last 3 contracts I’ve recently had with ee and only having tnt sports at the exclusive extra that whilst I was on holiday for 2 weeks it miraculously got taken off the inclusive extras list.

agent said that’s it there’s nothing else I can do, no one else will listen and any supervisor will give me the same decision.

incredibly poor that for the next 2 and a half years I’ve to pay the same price every month and not get the product that I had originally specifically specified to have on my account.

im gonna keep looking into this and any help on how to do it would be much appreciated. Anyone else can I contact to take this further?

It shouldn’t matter surely if it’s a business account overall.

its completely ridiculous and having been with ee for over 25 years id have expected a bit of common sense that this issue could be easily resolved.

its a joke that ive no one else to contact to go any further and to them this issue is closed.

What was the outcome out of interest?

I joined EE business in April because of getting TNT. On holiday last week and asked for my spend cap to be removed so I could roam. The very helpful customer assistant actually turned my TNT off and moved me to the roaming perk but assured me I could move it back to TNT as soon as I was home.
Arrived home today and tried to switch back to watch the community shield final and they took me through the above of TNT not being available to me anymore. Only reason I joined and the sales agent spent ages chatting to me bout next seasons champions league that I now can’t watch.

Raised a complaint but not expecting any sort of positive resolution and now stuck with a 20 month phone contract that feels very overpriced!

You’ll get nowhere with the complaint.

I demanded to speak to someone else to help but was told no one could do anything.

im absolutely scunnered with it now that im paying for something and not getting the main perk that I was looking for

no one else could help or take it further
