Upgrade free gift not honoured

I have recently upgraded my wife's and I phones, both were advertised as with a free gift, S25 = chrome laptop, S25FE = buds and watch. Samsung have rejected both claims stating that they are not eligible for the promotion. What kind of scam is ee/samsung running here? Neither of us would have chosen these phones if it wasn't for the free gifts.

Did Samsung provide any reason as to why your application for the products was rejected?

I just want to make sure that you applied for the products via the correct channels.

For the Samsung Galaxy FE offer, you can apply through Home - Samsung Promotions

For the Samsung Galaxy S25 offer your can apply through Samsung S25 offer
