Confused (scam guard etc.)

I've just had a SMS off EE giving me a free 30 day trial of Cyber Security Duo.

Looking into things there seems to be 3 products, namely: Cyber Security Duo, Scam Guard and Dark Web Monitoring. I'm confused as to what the particulars of each do. I assume all 3 are separate subscriptions?

How much would they cost per month after any trial period.

Scam Guard is a spam detection add-on for spam phone calls, it identifies and blocks spam and fraud calls to your number and is currently £1.50 a month.

Included within Scam Guard is dark web monitoring from EE for your personal information, available only to the account holder. You get a link via text to set it up. The dark web monitoring regularly checks if your personal information like e-mail address, passwords etc have been posted to the dark web where fraudsters may use them.

Cyber security duo is real time protection for up to two devices against viruses, spyware, ransomware and other online threats, powered by Norton. Cyber security duo also provides dark web monitoring from Norton. At the end of the free trial it would be £2.50 a month.

Also if you do buy Scam Guard that comes with 3 months free Cyber Security duo. Hope this helps to clear things up.

I'm not on EE Broadband, but if I was, would these security features also be active on my home router, thus protecting every device on my home network?

@hawkerpaul The Cyber security does not work network wide no, you install it on the individual device you want to protect. It cannot be installed on a home router, it is Windows, Macs, Android or IOS devices which are potentially vulnerable to viruses etc that it will work with.

The compatibility section on this help page has the requirements for each device type to work with Cyber Security.
