Hi. I want to subscribe to the Apple one offer which includes iCloud 50Gb. I already pay for iCloud 50Gb , so do I have to cancel this before signing up for the ee one or can I cancel it after? Will I lose any files I already have backed up when I cancel my existing one?

Hi @Revrand

Welcome to the community.

You don't need to worry about losing any files, it will all be done under your Apple ID, so everything will be backed up as long as you have the iCloud storage.

In terms of when to cancel the existing one, it will depend on when you get Apple One set up, and the renewal data of your current 50GB iCloud storage, as if you cancelled it today you'll still have the existing 50GB until the day before it would be normally renewed.

If you go to your Apple Account on an iPhone (the section with your name in Settings), then iCloud and Manage Plan, you'll see when it is due to renew. You'll also be able to cancel from there.

You can also choose not to cancel if you needed the space, and have 100GB in total. I've got the 200GB plan plus the 50GB from Apple One and use it for Family sharing.
