Apple one activation

Does apple one activation come by text or imessage. And when will I receive the message it has been 3 days since the upgrade and 4 calls to support and still nothing.

@Chris_B thanks for the speedy response, I have checked through the app and it does state that I have the add on. However no text to activate has been recieved as EE support stated I would get. I have tried to activate Apple Music, and that stats 'no subscription through EE'.

@Malkrae Apple One is usually activated via a link sent by text, however you may also be able to activate it by going to Settings > Apple ID (name at the top of settings) > Subscriptions > EE Plan Benefits.

Make sure your number is correct in Settings> Apps> Phone> My Number and give that a try to see if you are able to activate.

Thank you for the advice. However, the device I have access to is running iOS 12 and doesn't have a subscription option. I normally use Andriod phone, which I was told is fine. I also have an IPad Pro, but it is wifi only. I'm not sure if the activation text can be resent. All I have is this from a text but no activation text or link. Thank you.

To set up Apple One, you would need an iPhone using iOS14 or later. and an Apple ID will be required.

@Leanne_T thanks, I was told by support I don't need an Apple device and I would recieve an activation text and/or email. Not sure why Apple Music doesn't find an EE subscription

@Leanne_T thanks just one more thing if ok I have tried to do it on my Ipad Pro with the same thing see the image still needs another link to activate the Apple one as you see from the bottom sentence to go back to the link from your service provider ... I have no other link.

Are you able to update the software on the device? as the image does show the software needs updated.

You would get access to Apple Music once the Apple One is activated.

I went through this with customer services to activate but Ive now noticed AppleCare billing me £5.99 a month for thus when it should be free. What’s gone wrong…?
