Apple TV free add on with plan

We already had Apple TV 6 months free which is due to expire in 4 days

As part of sim only upgrade Apple TV is a free add on so want this to take over once 6m free ends in 4 days.

Located this free add on under Apple ID and “EE mobile subscriptions” and activated with code - will this just replace existing subscription? Or does something else need to be done?

Any help / guidance would be appreciated

It would be best to check to make sure that the current offer is removed to make sure it doesn't start charging you.

Was the current 6 months free option on a mobile plan or a broadband/EE TV package?

No, the six months free was an offer when we purchased our TV through another retailer

If the current subscription was just set up with Apple, I would expect it to just end if you are using the same Apple ID with the new one on your EE plan.
