Apple Music codes not received

I’ve just signed up with EE however I haven’t had any codes to use the essentials plus free Apple Music I selected , any ideas ?

Great to hear you've signed up to EE!

There are no codes for Apple music. Simply visit Apple Music Activation | EE while connected through mobile data and follow the steps to set it up. Apple will automatically detect your subscription.

Everytime I do this it just states no subscription detected and points me towards the free trial
