Hi I’ve received the Xbox yesterday and I’ve got the text this morning for the game card however I haven’t got any emails or texts for the game pass how or when do you get this?

How did you add the Xbox? Was it purchased outright or is it on Add to Plan where you pay for it monthly on your mobile bill?

It was added on monthly, also it says on my add ons Xbox game pass £12 I just wanna make sure I’m getting the 24 months free and not paying £12 for it?

If it was on an Add to Plan package, you just need to head over to the verification page, and enter the mobile number that the Xbox was taken against. It'll then send you a text with a PIN to validate and get the Xbox Game Pass set up.

This would be free for the length of the add-on, so if you are paying for it over 24 months, you'd get it for that whole time.

It is best to make sure you are connected to the mobile network, rather than WiFi, when you are validating it.

Yeah I’ve done that but on my add on page it says £12 monthly?

Have you tried adding it in the EE app or website when logged into your account previously? It should only show £12 per month if the chargeable add-on has been applied.

@Lucyb0610 It does look like that could be the chargeable add-on version, is the Xbox itself showing in the add-on for that number?

To make sure it would be best to give us a quick call on 150 as our guides have access to your account and will be able to confirm for definite if you have the chargeable version active and if so get it removed so that you can activate the free version in its place.
