Trade in upgrade

So when I switched to ee I was offered extra trade in on my current Samsung device.

It said enter the last 8 of the imei on my new device to get a trade in boost..

This doesn't not work.

It is the main reason I chose ee

Can someone please help?

It just says invalid code

Does the page only allow 8 digits?

Are you able to try entering the full IMEI?

Not sure what it allows but I've only tried putting in 8
