Does the Roam Abroard pass include maritime data and calls?

Hi,

My son is on a cruise and when he lft port got a message saying he was now connected to maritime data. He has the Roam abrord pass and I would like to know if this pass includes maritime data and calls?

The roam abroad will work when on land but maritime data/calls are not included in the roam abroad pass.
