BT Sport error vc018

Does anyone know what error VC018 means when watching BT Sport on an Android phone?

I can watch other programs on the phone but the one I want to watch just returns error VC018.

It happened yesterday evening but after a few minutes cleared and I just missed the first few minutes of the match. Today the error would not go away and I had to watch it on a PC.

I have had this issue for a couple of weeks now ( been dealing with this with ee technical). I have a new A53 and tonight I tried on an iPhone where everything was fine. I have now sent my findings to ee and advised them I think its the phones. People need to keep on at them to get this tesolved.

But this problem has been going on for a few years. Are they not even able to give a cause of the problem?

I don't think that it is the phone that is the problem as when I get it I switch to watching another live sport and that has always worked perfectly. It only seems to affect rugby union, which is the main sport I want to watch.
