please can you link my new ee account so that i can purchase an item online

i have tried several times linking by joining the ee comunity forum but this has no effect

all i want is to buy one of the ee products and i am blocked from doing this due to this account setup battle

What are you trying to buy? If it is a contract phone or SIM, don't login to your MyEE before going to the EE Shop. It expects you to already have an EE mobile phone or SIM contract.

Pretty sure those are accessories...

You have to have a plan with EE (I believe a pay monthly contract) to be able to buy these accessories on a monthly payment, I believe it's the same for buying outright. Could be wrong but I don't think you can access the accessories section and buy from it as a non-EE customer.

Having just checked this while logged out, upon clicking on the "Accessories" section it requires you to login, so yes, it would appear you must be an EE member and have some form of account or plan with EE to buy them.

You cannot buy an accessory online unless you already have a mobile phone contract from EE. You are expected to pay for it along with your existing EE mobile plan. That's why it's telling you to login to upgrade your existing plan or add another device. You can however order these from an EE store.

The store is incorrect. I believe they mean you can only order accessories online as a member. Not in store. Not tried to do it in store but that would be my view on it.

Could I get this done in a day? Would i have to order a sim and wait for weeks? I dont mind sighning up if thats what i have to do. I just want to order them and not have to mess around with all this account setup distraction. What is the fastest way to become an ee customer with the account access i need?

The store is not correct. They should be able to take your order & if they don't have it in stock they should be able to order it from a store that does.

Sorry, I made a mistake above by saying you could have a SIM-Only contract to order accessories online. You cannot order an accessory unless you already have a 24-month mobile phone contract with EE.

If you sign up, you would need to wait for the SIM to arrive. You would probably be able to access the MYEE account fairly quickly. But from what I recall once you sign up to EE you have to wait a minimum of 30 days before you are eligible to access accessories on either a pay monthly plan or to buy outright.

I assume EE is the only place that has them in stock? Otherwise just buy them from elsewhere...

If you're able to get back to your local store, please mention that they can place an order via their Sales Plus system.
