BT Sport error code VC018

I can't watch live sorry on my App, I could before. This is a pain as I pay extra for a service which does not work. Tried to message technical support but unable to do so. Tried phoning but it is a 20 minute wait which is unacceptable. Can this be solved or should I just reduce my package. I have tried logging out of the app and selecting live sport from different menus on the app.

Try these steps to fix:

Refresh the page and try again
Log out of the BT Sport online player and back in again

Have had my A53 a few days with the same issue.

Managed to watch BT football live by: logging out the app completely.

Restarting the phone.

Log back into BT sport and hey presto.

Seems to work. Tried it several times bit of a pain but works.

Further to the above.

Same thing using the above steps it wouldn't play. When I clicked the settings cog wheel and disabled the HDR slider it works fine.
