Data in the US

Hi. I have a pay monthly contract with 100GB of data. The contract cost includes the cost of the phone. My add ons include a Travel Pass and 30 minutes from anywhere. I am going to the US for 10 days. I would like to use my monthly minutes and data while I am there.

The Travel Pass seems to be £5.48 per day for 150MB which is very expensive and not enough data.

It looks like there is a Roam Further Pass but I cannot find what this includes. Also it is £9.50 a month forever.

Is there another way??? Thanks!

@futureisbright : As it is not in EU, if you are on contract, you may use your usual UK allowances there with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more, when you buy for £11.40 / month or have already as a Smart Benefit the Roam Abroad Pass or you have an EE Max Plan. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/usa.

The Roam Abroad Pass is charged pro-rata for only the time you have it, Besides the TDP it is a no-brainer.

If you are on contract, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure roaming is enabled on your account.

Hi, can you tell me how much is the data add on in the US for pay as you go customers? There is no information on the website, it only says ‘buy add on when you land’ which isn’t very helpful. Thanks
