Ever since BT Sport started using the new menus for loading Champions League games when casting to TV I get very bad buffering.

If the game starts with the old blue banner across the bottom of the screen it is fine. Watching BT Sport normally it is fine.

Start a game with the new menus and the program takes ages to start and then keeps buffering.

I am casting to a Google Chromecast.

Any help with what is going on?

Do you have the latest version of the BT Sport App?

Do other apps work fine with your Chromecast?

All my apps are up to date fine. BT Sports also usually work 100%. The problem is specific to Champions League games only.

If the cast starts with the old menu with the lower part of the TV screen blue the stream works fine. If the game loads with the new bar, club badges on the screen, and a loading bar the game takes ages to load, is poor quality for a minute, then continues to buffer.

The problem is very specific.

I'd recommend reporting this issue to our Tech Gurus. They work alongside the BT Sport team so may of heard of this type of issue before and know how to resolve it.

I am having the same problems, always with live Champions League games and some Premier league games. Also, some live boxing is problematic. All other live streaming seems to work fine.
