Unlimited Data Add On - App vs My EE

Unlimited Data Add On - go through the My EE the cost is £16.39 + Vat, go through the App the cost is £25 inc Vat.

Why the difference in Price ?

Found some more, apart from the UL Data Add-On, the other Data Add-ons (250mb, 1gb, 2gb, 5gb, 10gb) are the same Cost, But, on the Web MyEE the Cost is Excluding VAT and on the App the Cost is Including VAT.

So (without me buying an Add on to prove it) its technically Cheaper to buy a Data Add on on the App than it is to buy one from the MyEE, with the exception of Unlimited Data.

Im going to start charging EE for all this stuff soon, just haven't decided whether to include the VAT element or not. 🤔 😁

I get this and that says nothing about VAT so you assume that’ll be the full cost including VAT but I do get the same as @EssexBoyEE when you go to the my EE app or via online account login.

it seems EE are showing one cost that includes vat and then one cost where you’ll then have VAT added to it and then the full cost if you get it a different way.

Doesn't say anything about Special Offers for me, just that's the Price.

All my Web MyEE cost for Add ons exc VAT, On the App you almost have to get to the Checkout stage before its says VAT inc.

Let me try another EE Number on my Account

Comparing with the Price Guide:

All the limited add-ons are 1-off End of Bill Cycle (EoBC) while the Unlimited is Recurring (5G5 = ?) currently on special offer. All prices inclusive of VAT.

Hi been trying to get In touch with EE as I have sim only and wanted unlimited for £25 as u can get it plenty of other places. The first month they charged £25 after that the VAT came so charging £27/28. I would like the money they owe me refunded. Snakes.

It's possible that it was a bit extra on the first month because you were charged for the add-on for the month in advance, plus an extra couple of days before the bill was produced at a pro rata rate.
