Spotify linked to EE

I’ve been paying for Spotify premium for years via my EE account. I’m thinking of cancelling my phone plan but I’m worried that if I do my Spotify account will be cancelled too.

Is there any way to unlink my Spotify account from EE so that I can pay directly? Looked through all the forums and google results and can’t find any answer except deleting my Spotify account and starting a new one (not ideal).

I am sorry to hear you are looking to cancel your plan.

Once your plan has been cancelled your subscription will also be cancelled which will close your account.

Spotify itself must have some way of changing its method of payment. Look in your Spotify a/c for the Payment section.
