You're not plugging a DSL cable&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;into the phone socket; you're plugging a phone.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Normally you need something to convert the RJ11 DSL cable to the phone socket - the ADSL filter cable does this for you.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do you have another way to plug your FSL cable into your phone socket?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Yes, if the OP has a DSL BB connection the DSL splitter will still be needed at the master BT phone socket to receive the DSL cable from the router.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
