topic Change over from BT to EE DIGITAL Phone using EE Bridge in Digital Home Phone

Hi

Been sent here by BT Community.

I've just started the changeover from BT to EE and unfortunately the connection has failed. I have an Openreach engineer coming on Monday and in the meantime the support people asked me to reconnect the BT router and use the EE Bridge which is fine. However, the have now disconnected my landline and I've tried connecting it to the router but I get a message telling me there is a fault. So, should my phone work using the EE bridge?

Thank you for any help. This has not been a smooth experience, and I'm dreading changing my mobile!

The bridge is the device that connects to broadband via the mobile network when broadband is down ( that's what the customer service guy called it)

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll wait for the Open REach person tomorrow.

Ah OK! It's the Smart Hybrid Connect.

I doubt digital landline would work when the fixed BB is down.
