topic Re: Set up with full fiber left us with no phone, mobile or internet for a week in Digital Home Phone

Three months ago during which neither my husband and I were having health problems, we had fullfiber installed by Openreach, nothing worked for a week until I contacted EE. A very helpful EE person helped me over the phone to plug things into the right plugs. (Envisage an eighty year old, on her hands and knees ) we were told we would be compensated, but so far I have not been able to see if this was the case as I find that nothing is straight forward. Perhaps I am too hopeful that at the time we the Solar battery should have been reconnected to the internet, loosing us money.

@user504 Do not see why any compensation would be paid at all, the whole crux off the matter was as you say plugged into the correct place it has worked. Are you now saying from the post that you still have an item that is NOT connected or working....

If compensation was to be paid and EE have said and did so, then it would be in the form off a credit against your account, in the billing you should see that and depending on the amount of the credit applied then you would have had lower if not nothing on your billing until it all went positive again for you to start paying.

If you have also used your account number for your user name on the Forum not a good way to do that....
