How do I use this BT telephone ?

We have had these four hands-free telephones for years and I can answer it, and make a call.
But all the other buttons are a mystery to m !

More to the point - how do I access what I want ?

Top left is written - "Menu" the button below that simply has a tick.
Beneath is "Redial" and below that is the Answer button - I think !

Top middle is the word "Block" but that is not a button you can press !
Beneath is a "fancy" shield-shaped button.Beneath that, in the middle, is a "double-height" button -
This is labeled at the top, an up-arrow over the word "Calls".
In the middle is the word "Vol.",
Below that is a diagram of an open bol, over a "dowm Arrow"

On the right top is the word "Mute!, but not on a button/

Below is a button marked X

And below that is the "Hang-up" Button - I think !

Can some kind person tell me what other functions there are in this telephone, and how I can access them ?

@RobinClay : What model is it? Is it a mobile or landline phone?

Post an image of it showing the layout of the buttons that you are trying to describe.

[Sigh]
ALL it says is "BT" on the back.
They sit in a "Charger"

I wanted to send a pic - but could not see a way to do that 😞
