Compatible with digital voice

My aunt is 92 and has two cordless digital voice phones connected - one in her bedroom and one in her living room with one linking off the other.

I was looking at this for her:

She is struggling with the cordless so thought something more traditional would help her.

My questions are:

Are these compatible with digital voice?

Could she have one in her living room and one in her bedroom (how are they connected to the router?)

All modern phones are compatible with DV. Unless they are specifically DV phones (few & far between) (the 2 you quote are not) your phones are plugged either into the back of of the router or into a ATA adapter plugged into a mains socket away from the router.

I presume she doesn't have DV yet & currently has a DECT base station plugged into a BT phone socket in 1 room & a DECT slave handset in the other room.

She has had BT broadband and digital voice for just short of three years. She has an earlier version of these handsets but is struggling to answer the phone or even use it. For example 6 months ago she was averaging 600 mins a month on calls out, last month she was 13 and they were all on the same day

Yes, that's a DECT base station plugged into the router or an ATA in 1 room & a DECT slave handset in the other room, that I was talking about.
