Nuisance calls

I need to free up some space on my phone so I can block nuisance calls by pressing the red button. However a recorded message tells me to access my account on line and do it that way. I have tried this but have failed. Any ideas please

I'm not sure why you think that rejecting calls by pressing red, needs a certain amount of space free?

Or where this recorded announcement is coming from?

Are you using Android or iOS? The process to block individual numbers varies.

The digital phones are supplied by EE/BT and they run off the EE broadband. When a nuisance call shows on the screen and I press the red button a recorded message tells me that I need to make space to do this. The message also tells me to go online through my account to activate this

It sounds like you're referring to our Call Protect service.

Have a look at our Call Protect | Home Phone Help | EE page for more information and help with using the feature, including deleting messages if you have reached your storage limit.
