topic Second corded phone in Digital Home Phone

I want a second phone in another room in the house, but don't want wireless. So, can I plug a second corded phone into the Hub by using a "splitter", and then a cable to the other room? Will that work?

@TimStevens no offence meant, but if you have to ask is this project for you?

That said, if you get the right kit for the distance, something like this may be a simpler solution for you.
