Similar to many other cases I've read on here. We have, today, migrated from a Plusnet copper line to EE full fibre. We were moved by Plusnet and given a guarantee of retaining our phone number when moving to EE and digital voice. Our move happened today and our old number has gone after over 40 years!

I really need help to get it back so hoping one of the great forum administrators can get in touch to help sort out the mess.

Many thanks!

Hi @paandjhwhite

Welcome to the community.

I totally understand the need to keep the number, especially after you have had the same one for so long.

We don't have account access here to help, but if you give our broadband guides a call, they can have a look into this to see what they can do with the number.

Thanks @Michael_D,

We've been in touch with the support team today and they've told us the number can be recovered. We're supposed to be getting a case number through via email but that hasn't happened today so I wonder if you're able to check the status for us?

Many thanks.

Thanks for the update @paandjhwhite. I'm glad to hear that they are able to get the number back for you.

I can't see any details on the case from here, as it would be linked to your account and we don't have access to it. If the email hasn't dropped into your spam or junk folder, it is worth giving the team another quick call. I'm sure it will be logged on the account.
