What happens if you leave the call when you see your own home number, does it get angry and start calling more often?

Hi, hope someone can help. We are on EE Fibre home line and when someone calls us and has left a message on answer phone and we haven't listened to it, we then get our home number call us repeatedly to remind us of the answer phone message. Is there a way to disable this? We just want to keep the answerphone green icon on the phone but don't need repeated calls telling us there is an outstanding message! Thanks

It seems to drop off after a couple of calls from your landline number, it's just irritating!
