@Marg6274 : Do you have EE Broadband with DV? You can lengthen the time before the 1570 VM cuts in so you can pick up the call yourselves.

@Marg6274 Link to the voicemail setting guide, and link to the BT User guide which should be similar for EE.

Changing the number of rings before voicemail picks up the message

Dial 1571 to access your voicemail.
Select option 3 for Settings and Features.
Select option 2 for Ringing Period.
Select option 2 to change the settings.
Choice is 0 to 3, where 3 is the longest 10 rings, estimated at 30 seconds for you to get to the phone.
