I have an unlimited data plan so why have I received a message saying I've used all my GB of data?

Did you receive a message from EE or a notification from your phone? Android phones often have a 2GB warning notification set as default, which is nothing to do with EE.

Oh OK. Im not sure. I think it was a phone notification as I can't find any email or text about it anymore. Does that mean I will still have data if im not on WiFi?

If you have a look in your settings you'll probably find a data usage warning set which you can turn off or change.

If you have unlimited data with EE, you should be ok when not on WiFi. Check your EE app if not sure and it should confirm you have unlimited data, and unless you've exceeded the FUP then there should be nothing to worry about.

@Lou7264 : It's only talking about data that you may potentially gift each month from the 1st 100GB of all your data to other nos. on your a/c if you choose to. It's just a warning just in case you wanted to. You may safely ignore it & carry on using data for your own purposes including hotspotting.
