    <description>&lt;P&gt;I suspect yours is not the same issue as in the thread you'd added to, so yours is now a separate thread.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For avoidance of doubt, does Facebook itself work on your phone via data? How about Twitter/X?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I have also been experiencing issues with being able to use the messenger app whilst using data. I have tried this solution but it didn’t work. Have you got anything else I can try?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It appears to only be Facebook messenger yes. I have upgraded to an iPhone 14 recently and I’ve been having issues with it since then. Previously I had an iPhone 11 and was able to use messenger over data just fine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I haven’t got twitter/ X, but the Facebook app itself seems to be working. I don’t use the Facebook app much so I can’t say I have noticed as much.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Welcome to the community.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Could you check your phone settings to make sure Messenger is allowed to use mobile data. If you go to Settings &amp;gt; Tap on Mobile Data &amp;gt; Scroll down to Messenger &amp;gt; Make sure the toggle for Mobile Data is turned on.&lt;/P&gt;

It’s also worth deleting and reinstalling the app to see if that helps..&lt;/P&gt;
