Experiencing Poor Reception on SIM Only Plan

I have just moved to Sim only as all the new phones look the same and not tempted to spend a ridiculous amount of money on something that looks like my phone. All of a sudden, I hardly get any internet... There are times I don't have any signal at all for quite some time. That was never the case when I had a normal contract. I find it really weird 😕

What happens when you try using mobile data? Does your phone show network coverage when this happens?

Are you able to make & receive calls at the time?
