I have a Galaxy Watch 6 LTE that I'd like to be able to use cellular with my Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra.

I put my SIM in an old Samsung phone in order to get an esim and this worked independently of the phone. I then put the SIM back into my current phone, reset the watch without deleting the esim profile and started setting it up. It's let me put the mobile plan on but I can't get it to work.

Is there something I'm doing wrong, or will it just not work on the phone?

Thank you.

Everything is installed that needs to be. It's the first time I've had an LTE watch, and I realised when I went to the shops without my phone I was able to make a call.

It's thrown me off saying that there's no plans found though. Is this how it's meant to work? I now assume that it only connects when out of range, otherwise the default is Bluetooth to conserve battery life.

Thank you.

Hey there @KKinder 😊

If it's showing EE under plan then this is definitely a good sign that things are up and running.

You're absolutely right here too, your watch will always default to Bluetooth when in range of your phone to conserve battery, then the LTE connection will kick in when out of range.

Thank you. It does seem to be working at the moment and it's good that EE says it's connected; however, it still says that there's no plans found under service state?

Are both your phone and Galaxy Watch app up to date right now?

I'd recommend trying to toggle the top option on and off too.

Thanks for giving those a go @KKinder.

Have you tried going out with just your watch and seeing if you can receive calls successfully?

If calls are coming through to your mobile number as they should do, then this would indicate everything is working correctly.

If you continue to struggle though, I'd recommend contacting our technical team, and they can get everything double checked for you.

Everything seems to work fine when I left the phone at home. I made a call and used a few apps that's only useable with data and it's also showing my data usage.

I can only guess that it's because I set it upon a Samsung device to download the esim before pairing with a phone that's not strictly compatible to share data with my phone.

Thank you.

With your Watch plan this doesn't ever share data with your phone, it has its own dedicated allowance that it will default to when you're out of range.

It will receive the texts and calls from your main number, though.

Please let us know if you face any further issues, and if you do have any further worries around what's showing in the app, our team will absolutely be able to help you get this double checked.

Has anyone resolved this without a Samsung phone? I have a Samsung watch 6 classic LTE and a Pixel 10 fold and I'm getting the EE doesn't offer mobile plans for watches error. Yet the instructions say I only need the Samsung wearable app not a phone.

I've moved to EE as I was understanding that the supported it......

Welcome to the community.

If you are trying to set up the Samsung Watch with another phone brand, it would give you this error as it is not something that we do support.

It would only be possible to do it with a Samsung phone following the advice given above as a workaround.
