Hi all,

I'm on a 5g unlimited data plan and I just wondered does this include using it as a hotspot full time instead of normal standard broadband? I can't get fibre in my area and am in the middle of switching providers and am currently without normal broadband, so I've just connected it to my TV/netflix via my hotspot and it's working seamlessly!

I was just wondering if this would be viable as a full time option or is there a cap on how much data you can use via the hotspot option? I've used it previously with a couple of phones connected over the course of a week on holiday and didn't have any issues or extra charges, but if I was to use this as my main source of internet for connecting the TV to Netflix/streaming services and use browsing the internet on one of two devices (mobile and iPad) at that same time am I likely to experience buffering or slow service and will I be charged extra for using it in this way?

Any help much appreciated 😊

Yes, you may use your phone & its unlimited data plan as hotspot. However there is a 600GB pm FUP for personal use on all unlimited data plans however you use them..
