Hi

I'm based in Northern Ireland. I've a Pixel 8 Pro phone, on a SIM only package.

I've noticed over the past week, that when I'm not on WiFi, I lose access to the majority of my apps stop connecting to the internet. WhatsApp messages won't send, I can't connect to Strava, and LinkedIn doesn't work.

I say barely working, because some apps such as Chrome still work for most websites i.e. I can use chrome to look up BBC, but if I try other websites like LinkedIn, I get a SSL failure. This only happens when I'm not on WiFi, when I'm on WiFi then websites do connect.

So far, I've tried restarting phone, checking my mobile data connections and even doing a factory reset on my phone. None of these have worked

Yeah that's solved it.

Was Content Lock newly introduced? Or was there a forced change by EE?

As this wasn't something I changed or was even aware of

No, it's been there as long as I knew. New contracts & upgrades have it initialised to ON.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.
