Been trying to gift data for over a week now, when you click the option to gift, the screen turns grey and doesn’t move?

Yes on the app, never had issues previously. Usually gift every month

Have you tried using your main online account rather than the app to see if this resolves the issue you're seeing?
It could be worth deleting the app and reinstalling, just to make sure everything is up to date, alongside making sure your device is fully up to date too.

Same problem for me. I regularly have problems gifting data with the app but this is a new way for this to happen.

I get errors via the web on my computer as well. This time it's a "We will have it fixed soon" message because it can't show how much data I have or the person to whom I am gifting, which means I am unable to gift.

I would also add that, although I have liked the proposed solution (as this is usually what I have to do when gifting is buggy), it still really hasn't fixed the grey screen problem.

Does the same happen if you try and gift data logging into your EE account online?

Have you tried deleting and re-installing the app?

I was getting the same and was driving me mad. I think its an issue with the app on iphone? I managed to get this to work by going into the app and click on the "Manage" tab at the bottom (rather than home screen) Then click on "Mobile and Sims" tab at the top of the screen. Scroll down to gift data. This perhaps resets some caches in the app and gives you the right screen? It then works from the home page.

Hey can't seem to gift data if me and missus are on a unlimited plan saying unable to gift data saying u used a 100gb out of 100gb any solutions on this

If you have an unlimited plan you can gift up to 100GB. Data usage on an unlimited plan will decrement from giftable allowance. See Data Gifting Terms and Conditions.

Have you both used 100GB so far? If so, that's why this message will be showing when you try to gift data to another number on your account.

That what I saying my brother having same issue and he only signed up to EE few days ago so how can he use 100gb data and sure me and missus hasn't used 100

@Jimmyswanston22 Have you tried through both the app and the website? If you think there is an issue with the usage showing on your online account the best thing to do is give us a call on 150 and one of our guides can check your usage to help find out what is happening.

Hey just tried through the site saying there already a data rich as it already unlimited data so data gifting does not work from unlimited plan to unlimited plan there needs to be made clearer only works if u on a GB plan again needs to be made clearer

You can gift data from an unlimited plan, however, you can only gift data from your first 100GB.

If you have used 100GB this month and try to gift data to another line on your billing account this will not work.

It doesn't work this is an issue with 2 unlimited plans on my account as it max data gift data does not work unless the other person on my account has GB plan and I gift from my unlimited plan it will work but not from unlimited to unlimited needs to be made clearer

Hi @Jimmyswanston22.

The unlimited plan should not require further data.

If you have another number on your account which is not an unlimited plan, the first 100GB of your data allowance can be gifted.
