Businesses are losing thousands and thousands in lost revenue due to an EE DNS routing error!

EE where are you and what are you doing about it!?!

With a personal a/c with EE they are not liable for consequential loss.

You have posted just 2 posts on this matter. There are dozen of others discussing this & talking to EE high-ups. Do you think they are doing nowt & having no effect on EE that you took it upon yourself to start your own thread on this matter?

Well it certainly seems they are doing "nowt" Xray - its been 4 days and there are (as you allude to yourself) 1000s of websites effected yet nothing has changed. Why don't they put some general comms out to manage it and say they are working on it?

I don't really want to be spamming the thread with my business links - it doesn't need for you to test it - there are hundreds of sites noted in the other thread alone that are reporting the issue - probably 1000s affected of which I suspect lots more will probably be completely oblivious to the fact that EE have in error blocked access to their sites causing businesses all sorts of issues.

Jog on @Northerner - there are literally hundreds of sites impacted as noted in another thread on here you melt - unlike you as a "community star" I certainly wouldn't be spending my time posting on here if there weren't any real problems and I wasn't being impacted. Idiot.

@DIFI21 But it requires EE to test. Some of the links that have been posted about this issue that users say don’t work do work me.

So exactly what are EE supposed to do when they do work for some users but not others.

So what you are saying is you want help but don’t want to help anyone helping you. so why bother coming to a public forum requesting help.

Sorry Chris, I don't mean to be rude, but I am not coming here for you to help me nor have I asked any members for any help - I am coming to highlight the issues and "make some noise" so EE pick up on it and realise the scale of the problem and do something about it.

I have no idea what EE are supposed to do, it isn't my field, and their network causing the issue so its for them to figure it out. The 100s of sites mentioned were all working perfectly fine across all devices/networks on the 31st and then something has happened that has knocked them off on certain EE networks/devices. The effect on those sites and the potential losses this may be causing to those sites is quite staggering and yet there is nothing from EE.

If that's your intention you've come to the wrong place. This is not CS nor is it consulted by CS. It is indeed a user discussion forum where you do approach others for help to help you. Like the others with this issue you should be approaching EE itself directly.

I think you're missing the point. Stop acting like customer support. Even your own personal footer is emulating a support member. It's wrong. There are 3million Siteground sites & 22million EE customers, I strongly advise that you stop offering support on this matter as you're only hindering web developers and owners.

See the other main thread on this. It affects in my estimate about 80% of connections. I have a mobile that fails and an iPad that works. Sims are identical contracts. It’s similar for others.
but if it fails for you then it fails for all sites and email services etc if your DNS uses SiteGround. If our bypass EE DNS in any way then it’ll work on the device - for example changing DNS or connecting to WiFi (other than an EE mobile router).

I just spoke to someone in tech support at EE and she confirmed that they are doing "nowt." She said that they just sold me SIM cards for my business mobile phones and 5G router, and if I can't access any sites via their SIM that's my problem, not EE's.
