I changed over to EE sim only contract and had my old number ported since doing this I cannot use iMessage or FaceTime or sign out of my iCloud account. I have spoken to EE who went through all the simple steps I had already completed following the you tube video and surprise surprise it is still not working.
I have now been told to contact Apple tomorrow but this is EE false as up until 12pm today my phone had been working fine now it is not, thanks EE

@Beck07 what has signing out of your iCloud account got to do with EE ? It’s an Apple service and nothing to do with EE. Why do you need to do that anyway?

When you first put the EE sim in your device did you switch of iMessage and FaceTime ? Because if you didn’t when you put the EE sim in your device it automatically logged to the temporary number in the sim before your number got migrated. You need to switch off iMessage and FaceTime on your device and restart the device Jen check your number is correct in Settings>Apps>phone, if it’s now correct, you can re-enable iMessage on FaceTime.

It is switched on on new & upgraded contracts & seems to affect social sites. If just switching it OFF doesn't help, try switching it to STRICT, reboot your device and then switching it to OFF. That is seeming to do the trick.
