does anybody know why my data is on and i have 49Gb left but its not working on snapchat tiktok or insta and whatsapp?

its annoying me as i can use safari , get notifications but nothings sending

sort it out

ive done everything possible, reset network, reset phone, used airplane mode, updated phone, checked sim, deleted apps and photos to free space, content lock,

Have you been able to check in your phone settings that the apps have mobile data enabled?

yes ive done all that too, all have it enabled

with mobile data on, i get notifications but the apps do not work go send anything when i go in it, or i cant see the notification be sent.

i have mobile data left and everyone elses is working in my house too

I would recommend giving us a call and reporting this to our technical care team.

i would do that but i have to be at places soon and will need to contact people so im not sure what to do

do you know how long the call will take as i have to leave in 10 minutes and obviously my data wont work when im out

Our lines for technical care open at 8am and are open till 9pm @stellatownsendx.

When you are out the house can you make calls and send texts OK?

nothing works outside the house only imessages work and phone calls on the phone app but not whatsapp or any other apps at all.

Have these services worked in the past on this phone? Or have they never worked?

Toggling content lock to full, waiting for confirmation and retrying the services, and then reversing the process - has been known to work when all else has failed.

@stellatownsendx : It could be Switching Content Lock OFF or ON . It is switched on on new & upgraded contracts & seems to affect social sites. If just switching it OFF doesn't help, try switching it to STRICT, reboot your device and then switching it to OFF. That is seeming to do the trick.

Did you try VPN to check if private relay is causing issues? If it works with VPN then it is network issue not a mobile setting issue in iPhone.

If you don’t have VPN then please try 1.1.1.1 app or cloudFlare DNS

@Rky That’s not a fix that’s a work around the fix I think you’ll find having content lock changed. And where does it state that the device is an iPhone that you assumed.

Yes that’s not a fix but part of process to assess the root cause 😊 same problem faced by other customer on Th*** operator and my this trick worked for them so they just changed it to free dns.
