Morning Peter,

We have the sims through another network provider so they arent directly through EE. They are essentially used as Data sims for business. due to the setup of our agreements with another provider we dont have any direct access into EE corporate or even consumer customer services for support.

Regards

Colin

Hi,

Been running round in circles for months with an issue that we seem to have pinpointed to some of our EE 5g data sims not working with a Meraki setup on the end of a Cradlepoint router. We get an issue where wireless windows clients won't pass radius authentication and it only seems to be when the sim card is given an IPV6 address on EE. I don't have a full insight I to if this is specific to the sim connecting to different core infrastructure on your network ie Ericsson or Huawei or something else.

Cradlepoint and Meraki have both said it is an issue with the EE network and the IPV6 addressing. We cannot recreate such issues on any other UK networks. Do you know if there is any workaround for this?

Regards

Colin

Welcome to the EE Community.

Do you know if these SIMs are on a personal or business contract?

I definitely want to make sure we help point you in the right direction for getting this checked out.

Thanks for confirming that for me, @Colin1876

If these SIMs aren't with EE directly, then my best recommendation would be to contact the provider that supplied these so they can be sure they've looked into every option available for support.
