Network down and urgently need to share data with my son. How do I do that

@Anntaggart Are you wanting to gift data ? Or do you want to hotspot your connection to your son ?

The network being down doesn’t stop you from data gifting providing you’re sons sim is on contract and it’s on your account. You can not gift data to PAYG or to a No frills tariff. You can gift data when connected to WiFi

Hello @Anntaggart

as an alternative you could use EE Wi-Fi which was formerly BT Wi-Fi which is a hotspot service FREE to all Broadband customers, could be a temporary solution to provide internet to your son.

If your area is experiencing a TLOS then please keep up to date on the service checker for the latest updates!

and of course @Chris_B is correct about the data sharing so won’t need to cover that again!
