An individual app may not have WiFi permissions and be using mobile data. Depending whether you have Android or Apple, some phones have an option for "adaptive WiFi" to fallback on mobile data if necessary due to a poor wireless connection.

I received a text telling me that I had used up 80% of my data and then an hour or so later I received another one telling me that I had used 100% of my data. I was connected to my WiFi so I’m not sure how this happened and this seems to keep happening. Has anyone had the same issue?

Hi,

Yes, it says that I have used it all. I have tried replying FREE USAGE for the breakdown but it just sends me a blank message. I just don’t understand how my data is being used whilst I am using WiFi?

Thank you,

Kate

No, I’m not. Why would my data be used whilst I am on Wifi though?
