My wife has a monthly ee and I have a SIM card contact. Can we benefit from a family account please?

You both need to be to be under the same MyEE family a/c, not PAYG, to be able to gift data. See Gift Your Data and Set Controls .

As you are on separate MyEE a/c's you can't gift data to each other.

You need to call CS with both of you available on the line to effect a change of ownership of 1 of the a/c's. Whoever is taking over the other's contract will then be paying for both contracts. If you can't do it together CS will give the current owner a password for you to quote when you call.
