I just ran out of data and the largest amount I can buy is 10gb. There is no option for unlimited data. Which is very frustrating because earlier when I phoned EE said it would be one of the purchase options available.

@happyloki : Which pack do you have? Which add-ons you are eligible for depend on which pack you have. A max. of a 10 GB add-on is for those who have no pack.

What the heck is a pack? 😂The PLAN I'm on is SIM only.

30-Day SIM 3GB GBP16

I've been a customer for over a decade so was surprised the option didn't come up. Surely if I was supposed to be on another set if criteria like a"pack" the agent should have advised me.

Hi @happyloki,

The thread you replied to was discussing pay as you go plans which is why @XRaySpeX was asking about packs.

If you're using a pay monthly plan, there should be an unlimited data add-on available.

How were you trying to purchase an add-on?

When I ran out of data on my phone I was messaged a hyperlink to the EE website buy more data page. It was there I found the largest on offer was 10Gb. There was no unlimited data option.

I had also tried texting phrases like DATA and UNLIMITED DATA to 150 in the hope that would work but each time it replied automatically sending me a list of proper word codes, none of which were relevant to buying a data add-on.

I just installed the app. When I inevitably run out again I'll see if it gives me the option for the unlimited add-on there and let you know. 😊

If you regularly run out of data, it might be worth speaking to Customer Care about upgrading your plan.
