Unlimited 24 month plan £32.25

I'm thinking of upgrading to the Unlimited 24 month plan at £32.25/pm.

It isn't made specifically clear what the data limitations are on this plan, and it would be replacing my current landline/broadband set up.

I'm not bothered about high speeds, but I worry about data limits.

Any help would be most welcome.

There's a personal use FUP of 600MB data pm with no more than 11 devices tethered off it normally at once.

A mobile data plan does not necessarily replace a current landline/broadband set up. That is a separate issue for you to sort out.

If I were to go for one of the fibre deals, would I be able to get rid of my current BT landline?

I don't see the point of having both.

Yes, you could order a Fibre W/out Landline package from EE & EE would take care of the complete migration incl. cancellation of your BT BB contract, bar your final bill from BT.

If you note the many complaints here of their mobile going down & therefore have no way of contacting EE about it, you might question the wisdom of getting rid of your landline for a mere £2 pm saving. I certainly do.

I'm completely baffled by the pricing system. How can fibre + land line be cheaper than the existing land line.

I wasn't saying that. I was saying that with EE its Fibre W/out Landline is about £2 pm cheaper than Fibre With Landline. EE doesn't sell Landline alone.

What do you have from BT? Is it BB + Landline or just landline? How much are you paying for whatever?

I have a basic BB+landline package, currently costing £43, due to go up soon to about £49.

6-14 mb/s (generally around 11 mb/s)

The landline is effectively redundant for me now, it is never used.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

Sorry, my mistake, I misread it.

You can't get Fibre there anyway. So you'll get a landline whether you use it or not. From EE you'll get the same Standard BB with landline for £27 pm or even £24 if you have if you have an EE mobile contract.

Yes, you can get Full Fibre (FTTP) there. For that you don't need nor get a landline. From EE you can get Full Fibre Max from £36 pm for 100 Meg to £56 pm for 900 Meg or even from £32 to £50 if you have if you have an EE mobile contract.
