Good afternoon,

I am a pensioner.

My son in law has given me a Samsung Galaxy phone. Can part of the money I have on the SIM card be transferred to data so that i can learn how to use this facility.

I don't have spare cash hence the request that part of the balance be transferred for data usage.

How much balance? I presume it's on PAYG. Text ALL PACKS to 150 & choose a 30-day pack with data etc. allowances that the balance can afford.

Perhaps I am asking for something which is not readily obtainable.

150 has led me to the package I would like and asks for my credit/debit card
details.

I really would like to transfer my PAYG balance into the package but I am
not sure how or if indeed it is possible.

I have cancelled my Ontopup monthly payment

I don’t want to write off the balance I have built up on PAYG of £24.72.as
payment for a new PACK05.

What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?

The answer to AL sent to 150 is:

Your current balance as of today 11.55 is £24.72. Your last top up was £5.00
on 16/01/2023 at 11.28.

I went on to MyEE and it wants my credit/debit card details to set up
Pack05. I cannot see a way I can use my £24.72 balance to start a 05 Pack.

Obviously when the £24 is almost used I shall be happy to have £5 per month
taken from my debit card.

Is that not possible?

Should be able to. Have you tried just texting PACK05 to 150?

Yes I tried texting PACK05, it didn't answer!

Tried twice.

It did answer with all the different packs when I texted ALLPACKS to 150 but
nothing to PACK05

No not really, don’t use the phone enough to warrant £10 a month.

@Christopher_G : Is it that these latest Subscription Packs can now only be paid for on a bank card, not from any PAYG credit?

Hi @XRaySpeX

I've had a read up on our internal information on the subscription packs and it says customers should be able to use existing credit and top up methods. If it's a recurring card payment, there's a 10% discount (subscribe to save).
